The oldest Society event is a great way to kick off the outdoor bluegrass season in Northern California!

May 2 will be a big day of bluegrass — Della Mae will play later that evening in Mountain View in a Redwood Bluegrass Associates concert that will be welcomed by the NCBS. Make your plans to enjoy both events!

The Contemporary Jewish Museum in San Francisco will present Laurie Lewis in concert on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 6:30pm. The live solo performance in the Hardly Strictly Warren Hellman exhibit space is free with museum admission.

The HSB/Hellman exhibit will run through September 2016 and will feature monthly live music performances, including bluegrass shows, by artists who have performed at the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival. The exhibit also includes film of musical performances from the festival, so there is plenty of entertainment for bluegrass and roots music fans.

The Northern California Bluegrass Society welcomes the Laurie Lewis appearance and other selected performances from the Third Thursdays evening series.
